Real Talks and Well-Being with Christine Wynne & Carol Murphy of SOSAD Ireland and Alan O’Mara Real Talks Founder
For the 10th episode of the ICHAS Podcast, we were joined by Christine Wynne & Carol Murphy of SOSAD Ireland and Alan O’Mara Real Talks Founder.
During the conversation we chatted a bit about SOSAD, what areas have you seen the biggest focus for the organisation in the last three years (COVID era).
We also chatted to Alan about the Real Talks Series, where did the idea come from and how did the wheels get in motion as well as what do you hope people get from listening to the interviews?
Since 2007, SOSAD has worked to raise awareness and help prevent suicide in Ireland. We have worked tirelessly in our communities to help those in need feel supported and know they are not alone on their journey. SOSAD offers support and services for people who are struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harming, depression, bereavement, stress, and anxiety, or if you simply need to talk. You can learn more about the organisation today.
