ICHAS to Relocate Limerick Programmes to Griffith College Limerick from September 2024, Enhancing the Student Experience
The President and Management Committee of ICHAS wishes to advise that as and from the commencement of the forthcoming Academic Year (September 2024/25 that learners and staff on ICHAS’s current programmes offered from Walton House, Lonsdale Rd, Castletroy, Limerick will move into accommodation available in Griffith College Limerick located on O’Connell Avenue. Griffith College Limerick is already designed for higher education purposes and will more than meet ICHAS’s current and future needs.
More importantly, we have also secured use of Griffith Colleges Library and laboratory services for learners and we consider the venue considerably more accessible for learners in terms of public transport etc.. There is also ample ‘free’ on-street parking and for learners studying in the evenings and on Saturdays that parking is free. So those are some of the clear advantages from teaching and learning from a city centre location and we are delighted to share this development with you all.
We are very happy that this relocation will advance the educational experience ICHAS learners and staff alike. We look forward to welcoming all our new and current Limerick-based learners to our city centre location this year.
In addition, programme arrangements for learners studying at our Dublin Campus (Griffith College, South Circular Rd.) remain unchanged.
The relocation will not alter the governance of ICHAS programmes, its corporate governance or other arrangements and our headquarters (Business Address) will remain at Walton House.
