Profile
Tara completed an MSc in Health Promotion in 2012 from NUI, Galway.
Previous to this, she completed an Honours BA degree in Psychological Studies, Sociology and Politics from NUIG in 2006, as well as a Diploma in the Psychology of Counselling in 2008, both also from NUI, Galway.
Tara currently works as a team leader in a mother and child-specific residential addiction service in the Midwest, specialising in gender specific, evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to addiction and addictive behaviours.
Tara has lectured on several modules in ICHAS, including the Undergraduate and Master’s programmes.
