QPR Training at ICHAS with the Community Crisis Response Team

QPR Training at ICHAS with the Community Crisis Response Team

ICHAS college will be facilitating QPR Gatekeeper Training on the evening of Monday 11th March 2019 from 6.30pm to 9pm at our campus in Limerick. This training will teach valuable Suicide Intervention Skills and each participant will receive a QPR Institute Certificate.

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Manoeuvre help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognise the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone for help.

The cost of this training is €15 per person and booking of your place is essential as places are limited. Payment for this can be made at the ICHAS college Admin office prior to training or payment can be accepted on the evening of training. If you’re interested in this training then be sure to book your place today.
