They can be completed on a Standalone Basis or as a Combined Package.
The Certificate in Leading and Managing in Youth Work has been specifically designed to explore a range of leadership styles and management strategies for working with young people Learners will be required to demonstrate the ability to use appropriate approaches to planning and reflect on a proposed developmental intervention for an individual or small group of young people. They will also need to demonstrate potential supports and organisations working in partnership with young people. The module also focuses on developing reflective practice and the facilitation of development in young people. Students will explore different ways of supporting individuals and teams and look at principles of evaluation and accountability in youth work.
This programme contains one 10 ECTS Credit module from the first year of our degree programme.

Dublin: The next Dublin Certificate in Leading and Managing in Youth Work will take place part-time starting September 2018, for 12 weeks (6.00pm to 10.00pm) in Griffith College, South Circular Road, Dublin. Open for Registration
