Be Well Limerick Week

Be Well Limerick is a Mental Health Awareness week for young people and children across Limerick City & County. It will consist of a week long series of events that will promote positive mental health and well-being.

Be Well Limerick will:
~Equip young people with a mental health and well-being First Aid Kit
~Tackle stigma and promote well-being
~Promote a help seeking culture
~Ensure young people have support structures in place
~Positivity
~FUN!

How they do this?

Providing information and support through a series of fun, creative, educational and interactive workshops, talks and projects.

Monday, 31st October

Activities: Trick or treat – Mental Health and Well-being Team to visit Children’s Ark in Limerick University Hospital
Arts & Crafts – Intergenerational Youth Project to visit a nursing home
Mind your Pets- Social Media Campaign to promote Animal Welfare
Tuesday, 1st November

Activities: Be Well Day – (Northside Youth Space: 12-4pm) Arts & Crafts, Sports, Entertainment & Food.
Workshop 1 – “Confidence & Self Esteem”.
Workshop 2 – “Mental fitness through Martial Arts”.
