ICHAS Update for Semester 2
First of all, we would like to wish you a very happy New Year from all the Faculty at the College. At this time last year, none of us could have predicted the extraordinary year that lay ahead and how our lives would change. We want you to know that we are committed to supporting you all during the immediate challenges of the current Level 5 restrictions.
We recognise the exceptional challenges faced by our students, staff, and the wider community. We are also conscious of ensuring excellence in education and will continue to maintain academic standards and provide quality teaching, learning, and student engagement in a safe environment in full compliance with public health guidelines.
Within that context, we will schedule all classes online via Zoom and while there is no long term clarity at this point. We anticipate that this will continue for the full period of Semester 2. At all times we will follow government guidance on this matter, and we will keep you appraised of any developments.
We completely understand there are concerns around certain areas. These are being considered and we will consult with Class Representatives as soon as we can arrange that and will be back in touch in the coming weeks with some guidelines around this.
